Our Story
Nutrience has always been committed to helping animals in need. Over the past 5 years alone, together with our parent company Rolf C. Hagen Inc. , we have donated over $1 million in food and supplies to rescues and animal causes across Canada.
Donating to these rescues, who work tirelessly to give animals in need a safe haven and the love and care they require, has always been a part of our regular contribution to animal welfare. This year however, we wanted to play an even bigger role. Create an impact. Spread a message. So, we partnered with the Ontario SPCA, and together with your support, are helping "stop bad things happening to good pets".
What good has come of this so far? Well, the Ontario SPCA responds to between 13,000 and 16,000 cases of animal cruelty every year. Often these cases require the removal of many animals at one time, and an ongoing challenge for the organization is to transport all of these animals. Nutrience recognized this need and through donations triggered by your purchase of Nutrience during the months of April and May of this year, we were able to purchase the first ever Ontario SPCA Emergency Response Trailer that will support rescue and relief efforts across the province of Ontario. We followed that up with a donation of $50,000 worth of food and supplies, and we are not done yet. Over the remainder of the year, Nutrience will continue their work with the Ontario SPCA as well as other rescue organizations across Canada, but we can't do it alone. Help us help stop bad things happening to good pets.
